This course covers the subject matter required to pass the exams needed to obtain the FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License with Radar Endorsement.
The General Radiotelephone Operator Licez (GROL) with Radar Endorsement is a lifetime credential that is the most broadly accepted FCC Wireless License available. This license is required to adjust, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot or internally repair transmit-ters for aviation, maritime, microwave, railroad, telephone and international fixed public radio systems and services. This license is re-garded as a certificate of knowledge and is required by many employers and governmental bodies in the radio/communication and electronic industry, including being a requirement for companies installing public radio enhancement systems, sometimes referred to as Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDA).
The course includes the administration of the official FCC exams, and the proven course format and training techniques result in an extremely high pass ratio. The FCC license is emailed directly from the FCC to the student.
Fiplex by Honeywell ERCES - BDA & Fiber DAS Hands-on Certification Training - Level 2 (ILT)
Two days of Instructor-led training. The class starts with a review of the Online Level 1 material followed by hands-on exercises with a 700/800 BDA. While similar, any differences between the 700/800 BDA and the VHF/UHF BDA and the Fiber DAS products are highlighted. Demonstration of the BBU and its configuration software is presented. The hands-on continues with the setup and use of a TAIT handset and Rigol Spectrum Analyzer. Finally, how to perform an RF site survey is presented with the aid of a PCTEL scanner.
As a preferred training provided for Honeywell, this instructor-led Fire-Lite ® OEM Training Certification provides Fire-Lite customers with the ability to understand basic fire principles as well as how to designate what products may be used to provide initiation of a fire condition and then allow notification so that lives may be saved and property preserved.
This course also speaks about correcting defective systems and programming for applications that include HVAC, floor above – floor below, Elevator recall, and door closure functions.
Certification will be provided to installers maintain NICET certification and meet AHJ requirements for factory training, which may be required for site approval. The features in this 2-day Course can be done through keypad programming of the Endurance panels.
As a preferred training provided for Honeywell, this instructor-led Silent Knight OEM training certification is designed for technicians who install and maintain Silent Knight addressable fire alarm control panels (FACPs) focusing on these models: 6700, 6808, 6820, and 6820EVS. This course will introduce technicians to system installation, SLC devices, emergency voice systems (EVS), programming and troubleshooting using the HFSS Software.
